Winter garden

School holidays now and we've been busy in the winter garden.  Building sawdust paths, planting garlic in straight rows and enjoying the salvias.  Good times for the peeps.  Who aren't really peeps anymore.

  1. The colour of the salvia is amazing it is a plant I haven't grown for years. Makes me want too again.

  2. I have just stumbled across your website after reading an article in Country Style mag. Wow. You are doing exactly what I want to do.I just have to convince the 11 and 8 year old as well as hubby- not an easy task- that life seems so much simpler in Tasmania somehow. All the beautiful fresh produce, markets cold weather fruits- I could go on. Love your blog.

  3. Having just planted the garlic (finally) I can safely say there will not be many a straight line. I'm looking forward to watching garlic & broad beans grow with very little input for the next few months! Max missed your mini cupcakes at the market and came up with a about 10 outlandish reasons why you were not there.
